UMEZ MERTZ GILMORE SEED FUND FOR DANCE

Grants of $5,000 will be awarded to 16 exceptional dance artists, collectives, and/or small nonprofit organizations for projects, presented to the public in Upper Manhattan, that express their artistic vision.

UMEZ ARTS ENGAGEMENT GRANT

Grants of up to $10,000 to support the frequency and diversity of public-engaging creative programming in Upper Manhattan. These grants will be administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC).

Multi-year matching grants are made to organizations with budgets over $100,000 that are expanding their staff and operations, based on a strategic plan for growth. Designed to build administrative capacity.

Multi-year grants are made to organizations with budgets over $100,000 that seek to improve efficiency by improving an aspect of their management without adding staff positions. Designed to strengthen operations.
