Cultural Investments Fund Information Sessions For Potential Applicants
The Cultural Investments Fund (CIF) is pleased to offer information sessions to help potential applicants better understand the Capacity, Infrastructure, Technical Assistance, and Catalyst Grant initiatives. Information sessions will cover eligibility requirements and funding restrictions, the UMEZ grant process, and details specific to each grant category administered by the CIF.
Verdery Roosevelt, Senior Vice President for Cultural Investments, said, “We are happy to be offering these information sessions as a way of providing more insight into the UMEZ funding process under the new strategy. Our hope is that potential applicants attending an information session will be able to better understand what is required of a grant recipient and consequently determine the right approach for UMEZ support.”
After the public announcement of our new cultural initiatives, we will be hosting info sessions in January and February. Our goal is to reach the appropriate staff members for eligible arts organization who may be unfamiliar with the UMEZ grant programs, or who seek additional information.
The information sessions will be held on January 24th at 3pm and February 6th at 10am. Each information session is capped at 15 attendees. All sessions will be hosted at the UMEZ offices. To register for a session, visit: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/umez-cultural-investments-information-sessions-tickets-39012874558.
